Cole, Anne L., 92 of New Gretna, formerly of Saddle Brook and New Milford, NJ. Anne was born 7/26/24 in New York City, the 14th of 16 children. Her family moved to New Milford where they operated a bakery. She was nicknamed ""Oakley"" after the western star Annie Oakley; she loved sports, spoke her mind and was the epitome of what, in her day, was called a tough cookie.
She is survived by her youngest siblings Pauline and Jimmy and many nieces and nephews.
She married her husband, the late Edward Cole, after supporting herself for many years by working as a bartender at Connie's Inn. She is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth Weibrecht and husband Doug, and Barbara Gomolski and husband Joe, son Brandon and his family.
Motherhood was her great joy in life but she also enjoyed cooking, entertaining and helping people. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, who will memorialize her privately. Arrangements are under the care of Maxwell Funeral Home, Little Egg Harbor.
