Anna Prokop

Anna Prokop, 93 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Thurs. September 24, 2015 at Seacrest Nursing Home. Born in Ukraine she lived in Clark, NJ and Rahway, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor 9 years ago. Anna was a quality control inspector/manager of airline parts and was recognized as the first female to have the job. She enjoyed oil painting, playing Mah Jongg and bocce and was a Ruby Hatter.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Anna Basarab and grandson Steven Meyer.
She is survived by her daughter Joyce Meyer (Ken) of Little Egg Harbor, son John Prokop (Mary Ann) of Colonia, brothers John and Steve, sisters Helen, Mary and Irene, grandson John Meyer and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday Sept. 29, 2015 from 3pm until 6 pm, the Memorial Service will be at 5PM at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd, Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. www.maxwellfuneralhome.com.
