Ann McCarthy

Ann M. McCarthy, 78 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Wednesday December 20, 2023. Ann was born, raised, and lived in South Amboy, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 1979. Ann retired as a bookkeeper/office manager and greatly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Ann was predeceased by her parents Walter and Victoria Grzyb, husband Harold McCarthy and son Gary McCarthy.

She is survived by her loving children Brian McCarthy and wife Risé of Tuckerton, NJ, Kelly Leonard and husband Michael of Manahawkin, NJ and Keith McCarthy of Tuckerton, NJ. Brothers Walter Grzyb and wife Susan and Robert Grzyb and wife Andrea, grandchildren Justin and Daniel McCarthy and Emily Ann Leonard and many nieces.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 27, 2023 from 9:30-11am and then Mass at 11am all at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church 450 Radio Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Tuckerton.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Gary T. McCarthy Memorial Scholarship at Pinelands Regional High School at 590 Nugentown Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Checks may be made out to PRHS Scholarships and please put “Gary McCarthy” in the memo.
