Andrew T. Dolch, 92 of New Gretna, NJ passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday November 15th, 2020. Born in Irvington, NJ Andrew spent time living in Colonia, NJ before moving to New Gretna and building his house 30 years ago. Andrew served our nation in the United States Army during the Korean War and worked as a sheet metal mechanic before retiring and travelling the United States in his RV with his family. He was a Communicant of St Theresa’s R.C. Church in Little Egg Harbor where he was also very active. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Iselin, NJ and an original member of the carnival committee of St Theresa’s Church. He was very handy and could build just about anything and he was a perfectionist who enjoyed woodworking and reading.
Andrew was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Anne Marie Dolch, son Robert Dolch and sister Joan Banbor.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Catherine “Kay” Dolch, children Andrew Dolch, Denise Cirasa and husband Ray, Dawn Marie Szczepankiewicz and husband Jack, Catherine Knemoller and husband Scott and Richard Dolch, grandchildren Jack, Neala, Peter, Jessica, Michelle, Chelsea, Eric, Kyle, Kevin and Andrew, great-grandchildren Adison, Madelyn, Steven, Eric Jr. and Abraham and daughter-in-law April Dolch-Rose and her husband Kenny.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 18, 2020 from 3-7pm and on Thursday November 19, 2020 from 9:30-10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday November 19, 2020 at 11am at St Theresa’s R.C. Church 450 Radio Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Due to COVID-19 the funeral home is operating at 25% occupancy capacity as per NJ executive order. Staff will be there to assist. Please note that all visitors must wear a face mask inside the funeral home and church.
