Stanley E. Kalinowski, 84 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Saturday February 4, 2012. Born inLyndhurst,NJhe lived in Middlesex, Beachwood andManahawkin,NJbefore moving to Little Egg Harbor 12 years ago. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War, where he was a chef and earned the title as the Light Heavyweight boxing Champion of the South Pacific Fleet. He worked as a Police Officer for Con Rail inJersey Cityand retired as Lieutenant Detective. He was a Communicant of St. Mary’s Church.
He was predeceased by his wife Sophie in 1980, son Douglas Kalinowski in 1999, and daughter Eleanor Bechler in 2005.
He was the worlds greatest father and grandfather to his 5 children, 14 grandchildren, and 6 greatgrandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday February 8, 2012 at 11am at St. Mary of thePinesR.C.Church, Manahawkin followed by burial atSt. Joseph’s Cemetery,TomsRiver.
