Patricia Ann O’Byrne, 67 of Manahawkin, passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer on August 6, 2011 at Cooper University Hospital, Camden. Born in Staten Island, NY she lived there until moving to Manahawkin 6 years ago.

She was a supervisor for the NYC board of education school food services for many years. Patricia was a member of Perry’s Lake homeowners association, dance group, bowling league and community safety, Manahawkin, NJ.

She spent countless hours playing monolopy and card games with her 3 grandsons whom she adored and treasured. She was always up to a trip to Atlantic City and the Jersey Shore.

She was predeceased by her parents Francis Roberts and Patricia Florence Smith, and son Daniel Joseph Jr.

She is survived by her daughters Dawn Ruvolo (Vito) , and Melissa O’Byrne of Staten Island.  Brothers  Alfred and Francis Roberts, and sister Dorothy Barone. Three wonderful  grandsons  Daniel, Antonio and Nicholas.

A Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday August 10, 2011 at 11:00am at St. Mary of The Pines Church, Manahawkin. Cremation will be private.

Viewing hours are on Tuesday August 9, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9pm and Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 573 Mill Creek Rd., Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
