Jo Ann M. Comfort, 81 of Manahawkin, NJ passed away at Deborah Heart & Lung Hospital, Pemberton Twp. on July 4,2011.Born in Lewistown, PA she moved to New Jersey 52 years ago. She was a member of Manahawkin Baptist Church, Jacksonville Chapel in Lincoln Park, NJ and Bayside Chapel, Barnegat, NJ.
Jo Ann is survived by her husband of 59 years Reverand Earl Comfort, 3 sons Geoffrey Comfort of Jupiter, FL, Greg Comfort of Freehold, NJ Christopher Paul Comfort of Manahawkin, NJ. Daughter Laurie Comfort Wagaman of Manahawkin, NJ. Two sisters Evelyn Poussette-Dart of NY and Marilyn Roman of MD, and 12 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday July 7,2011 from 5:30-7:00pm at Bayside Chapel, 965 W. Bay Ave. Barnegat, NJ, with a Memorial Service to begin at 7:00pm.
Arrangements are under the care of Maxwell Funeral Home, Manahawkin, NJ.

So sorry for your loss she was a blessing to all the people that knew her. A true shineing light for the Lord. Praise God we will see her again and she shall be pain free.
