George W. Herbert III, 76, of Barnegat died after a long Illness on Thursday November 17, 2011 in Southern Ocean County Hospital in Manahawkin, NJ. Born in Bordentown, moving to Mt. Holly before moving to the shore area in 1956. George was a member of our National Guard for years and worked as a land Surveyor for several companies. George also loved to travel. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara of 57 years, a son George W Herbert IV and his Companion Deborah Billingsley of Ill., a daughter Barbara A Corliss (Gerald L) of Tuckerton, and a sister Carol Ann Maybury (Elwood) of Columbus NJ. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
