Francis Adam Jackiewicz, 77, of West Creek died Saturday September 10th 2011 at home with his loving wife and family at his side. Born and raised in Roselle, he began working for a freight company, National Carloading, while in high school and also became involved in the Knights of Columbus. He served our country in the army from 1952- 1954 while stationed in Germany, and returned to continue working for National Carloading in New York City. He served his community as Eucharistic Minister for St. Joseph’s Church in Roselle. In addition, Frank enjoyed 10 years as a softball coach for the Girls Athletic League in Roselle. After working for several freight companies, serving as district sales manager, Frank eventually retired from Arkansas Best Freight (ABF). Frank moved down to West Creek in 2005 and began serving as an Usher for St. Mary’s of the Pines Church. He was predeceased by his parents Francis B. Jackiewicz and Eleanor Buydos Jackiewicz, brother Richard Jackiewicz, and 2 sisters, Nancy Jackiewicz and Francine Paciunas. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Edith Edmundsen Jackiewicz, children Donna Leigh Critchlow and husband Kenneth, Lisa Janeen Jackiewicz, 2 sisters, Janice Decker and Brenda Stoye, and 2 grandchildren, Kenneth A Critchlow and Colin M Critchlow. Viewing hours will be held on Wednesday September 14, 2011 from 9 to 10am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10:30am at St. Mary of the Pines R.C., Manahawkin. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ.
