I was Bob’s senior class roommate at William and Mary and just returned from an out of country trip to just now learn the news of Bob’s death – is there anyone I can call from family to Susan – I don’t have any contact info.
Would appreciate any help

Our family has known no other dentist and no finer human being in the last thirty years… We will miss his subtle humor, his many kindnesses and all of his wonderful fishing stories… All of our feelings are with the family and Susan now.

This is a huge loss to the medical community to those who knew Bob.
As a Dentist, Bob diagnosed complicated problems easily and performed the finest dentistry. His repairs were pure genius. There was no one better in the field. We thank him for decades of care for 96 teeth, the dental emergencies when he dropped everything for us (Susan too), and many brilliant remedies for our non-stop action.
As our neighbor on LBI, Bob was a warm, very funny and very caring man. He had the highest integrity and his devotion to others was solid. Despite eye-rolls from the boys and many jabs, his devotion to “the Oldies” was solid too. No doubt, he should have become an “Oldie” himself… we were all rather counting on that to keep us laughing.
We can only think that God must have really needed Bob in heaven, for some very special duty.
Men like Bob Turanski are rare treasures on earth. We will miss him deeply. Much love is sent to dear Susan and Bob’s loving family. We will never forget the Dentist we loved going to see and the man who cared for us and others so well.

Bob was a brilliant, fine human being and we will miss him. He was a friend who helped many of us survive dental school with our sanity intact. We will never forget those times.
Rick and I are deeply sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Susan and the family.
He was a kind man and an amazing dentist.
