Catherine Mary Sprague (Montagnino), 50 of Little Egg Harbor has joined our Father in Heaven on Saturday October 8.  Born Catherine Mary Montagnino in Brooklyn, NY to Philip Montagnino and Antonina Gattuso Montagnino, she spent most of her childhood in Brooklyn before moving to New Gretna, NJ in 1967.  She graduated from Southern Regional High School and briefly served with the US Navy before earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Stockton College.  Catherine is survived by her husband Robert Sprague, her father Philip Montagnino, and her two children Shaun Spencer and Laura Fowler from a previous marriage.  Catherine loved helping people and chose a career as a social worker and also served as a firefighter at the New Gretna Volunteer Fire Company.  She also was an active member at the Stafford Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
