Bruce Bendixen, 62, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Sunday July 17, 2011 at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin.  Born inBrooklyn,NY, he lived inStaten Island,NYand Monroe Twp., NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor 10 years ago.  He was a graduate ofRichmondCollege, Staten Island and worked as a Machinist for Schweitzer-Mauduit Intl. inSpotswood,NJ.  He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, doing crossword puzzles and playing with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Susan Bendixen, son Eric Bendixen ofEast Windsor,NJ, daughter Karen Stigliano and husband James of Little Egg Harbor, sisters Beverly Bendixen and Barbara Berrigan and grandchildren James and Ryan Stigliano.

Viewing hours will be held on Wednesday July 20, 2011 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm and Thursday July 21 from 9 until the service at 10:00am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.  Burial will follow atMoravianCemetery,Staten Island,NY.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to Great Bay EMS at www.greatbayems.org
