Ann Charlene (Charlie) Paulsworth, daughter of Ann Storch and Edward Wissert (both deceased) and wife of William (Wimpy) Paulsworth (deceased) was a long time resident ofSouth Jersey. Her true love wasLong BeachIslandwhere for decades she owned and ran her young women’s fashion stores, the Bees Knees and Ms. Bee Haven. She also worked for many years as a sales rep for the Sand Paper and helped establish its expansion into newSouth Jerseyterritories. In an article in Echoes of LBI she and her late husband were featured. They were bothLong BeachIslandlegends. Charlene was a trailblazer on LBI who knew and befriended all those she met. Her love of animals was yet another passion; cats held a special place in her heart and she spent many hours searching for lost felines and finding homes for ones she had taken in. Her creativity, her smile and her genuine warmth and personality are all part of her amazing legacy. She leaves behind family and friends in and aroundLong BeachIslandand throughout the country that will carry on her memory. Her compassion and dedication to the fight to educate others in the knowledge and dangers of the lyme tick as well as the energy she exerted in her protests against the building of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Plant are just an example of her determination to look out for her fellow man. To many of her friends she will be remembered as the “sparkling lady of LBI” Arrangements under the care of Maxwell Funeral Home, Little Egg Harbor.

Dorisanne Polichetti Falzone, 58, was granted her angel wings on February 12, 2012, with her family by her side in Fort Myers, Florida. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some special way throughout her very memorable life.

Dar was born on April 19, 1953, in Norristown, Pennsylvania. She attended Bishop Kenrick High School and graduated in 1971. It was at a school dance that Dar met the love of her life, Mark Falzone. She was just 15 years old. The high school sweethearts got married one beautiful day in March. It was March 16, 1975. Mark and Dar shared a beautiful life filled with love and joy. They were blessed with four beautiful children Danielle, Joey, Markie, and Mikey.
In 1985, they decided to move from Bridgeport, PA and raise their family in the little town of Mystic Islands, NJ. This is where they both began their journey and began to raise their family. Dar was a Nurse at Seacrest Village Nursing Home for 19 years. She was the first LPN to become a Unit Manager. She truly cared about each and every patient that came through the building. We even heard many of the sad and happy stories at home.
But, this was not even the beginning of who Dar was. She was the most dedicated, loving and devoted Wife, MOTHER, Mommom, Sister and friend. She was the definition of what a woman should be. No words can even begin to describe how special she was to all of us. Her husband and kids especially, she was the matriarch of the family!
She is preceded in death by her parents, Doris Musser and Terry Polichetti, her two sons, Markie and Mikey. Dorisanne Falzone is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Mark Anthony Falzone, loving daughter, Danielle Meola and her husband Frank Meola of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey, devoted son Joseph Falzone and his wife Gina Falzone from Fort Myers Florida, three beautiful granddaughters, Gianna Meola, Nina Meola, and Elianna Meola, her brother Terry Polichetti , Mother in Law Theresa Bello, and many nieces, nephews, sister in laws, cousins, and her beloved dog Darcy Doodles.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday February 18, 2012 at 11:00am at St. Theresa’s Church, Little Egg Harbor, NJ. Visitation hours will be on Friday from 5-9pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd, Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. The family is accepting Flowers or donations may be made in her name to The Great Bay Regional Police Athletic League in c/o the L.E.A.D program, 665 Radio Road, Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
